Brembo

Specialist brake supplier Brembo has been active in Japan since 1993, when it began supplying brakes to the high-performance Nissan Skyline GT-R.

``The vehicle was a crash course for Brembo in the Japanese market," said a Brembo spokeswoman, and led to a small revolution in production and logistics at the Italian automotive supplier.

Following the Skyline experience, Brembo established a liaison office in Japan and employed Japanese-speaking staff in Italy.
