The Torrington Company has taken control of Nadella, its needle-bearing joint venture with SNR Roulements.
The purchase price was not disclosed. Torrington has had a 50 percent share in Nadella since 1985, but partner SNR managed the operation. SNR of Annecy, France, is a subsidiary of Renault.
Nadella, which supplies needle bearings for automotive and industrial applications, had sales of about $130 million (E147.8 million) in 2000.
