LORENZO RAMACIOTTI is general manager of Pininfarina Studi e Ricerche, the creative and engineering branch of Italy's Pininfarina group. Recently, Ramaciotti was thinking of retiring at the age of 53. The reason? The number of concept cars shown recently that he disliked. Ramaciotti began to wonder whether he was out of step with industry trends. Then General Motors hired Bob Lutz. Automotive News Europe's Luca Ciferri talked to Ramaciotti.
