Delphi Automotive Systems is negotiating to sell its $500 million (E553.6 million) instrument cluster business, a worldwide manufacturing operation that includes injection molding.
The move is part of a corporate restructuring to focus the world's biggest auto supplier on high-growth markets and to streamline product offerings. Delphi is already in the midst of a previously announced restructuring that includes closing nine plants and eliminating 11,500 positions.
