Corolla prices slashed
Toyota Division has cut the price of its redesigned Corolla by more than 12 percent to refocus on the youth market.
The 2003 Corolla, which goes on sale in the USA in February, will carry a base price of $13,855 (E15,545) including the $485 destination charge. That's $1,548 less than the base model on the current Corolla.
Meanwhile the Matrix, Toyota's cross between a sporty small car and sport-utility, will start at $15,155 with $485 destination charge. It will be built on the Corolla platform and sold starting in February.
