The European Commission is expected to take a tougher approach with automakers than originally thought when the final draft of its long-awaited inquiry into car distribution in Europe is published.
The draft - due on January 30 - contains proposals to let dealers sell multiple car brands in different areas of the same showroom and allow franchised dealers to subcontract service and repairs to approved specialist garages.
