Audi sold more cars than BMW in Germany last year for the first time, said Bernd Pischetsrieder, incoming Volkswagen group chairman and a former BMW chairman.
"The [Audi] brand delivered 250,000 units, well up on its rival BMW, which delivered 230,000 units to customers," he said.
