Austrian powertrain development specialist AVL will establish a new application center at Millbrook Technology Park near Bedford, England.

AVL's main testing facilities are at its headquarters in Graz, Austria.

Millbrook provides independent vehicle testing and development facilities with a range of tracks and laboratories.

Schrader Electronics of Nor-thern Ireland was awarded a contract to supply General Motors with tire pressure monitoring systems. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
