Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedPSA won't use Michelin tires for 307.
Automotive News Europe, January, 2002 by De Saint-Seine, Sylviane
For the first time in nearly 30 years, Peugeot is selling a model that does not come with Michelin tires as original equipment.
Since PSA/Peugeot-Citroen was created in the mid-1970s, Michelin has been included among the tire suppliers for every mass-market Peugeot model.
But only Goodyear, Pirelli and Bridgestone tires are available for the new 307.
"I was a bit surprised myself," said a Peugeot salesman at a Paris dealership. "Until the 307, we always worked with Michelin."
