Walter de' Silva, Seat's much-admired styling boss, will be named head of Audi design.

His new job includes supervising design at his former brand, as well as for Lamborghini.

Volkswagen has split its brands into two divisions - one for Audi, Seat and Lamborghini; another for Volkswagen, Skoda, Bentley and Bugatti.
