Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedTurin may be third show to die.
Automotive News Europe, February, 2002 by Ciferra, Luca
Turin is the latest show in danger due to a lack of exhibitors.
If organizers cancel the biennial Turin auto show scheduled for April 25 to May 5 (see story, Page 3), it would join the Seoul and London shows killed last year.
Future Barcelona auto shows are also in question because many exhibitors withdrew last year. And this autumn's show in Birmingham, England, is under similar pressure.
Turin is one of the oldest auto shows, dating back to 1900.
Organizer Promoter International is still trying to save the Turin show, but faces a difficult task.
