Visteon's new purchasing chief wants to cut sourcing costs and share the savings with the Tier 1 manufacturer's surviving supply base.

Jonathan Maples, who took charge of materials management and quality at Visteon in early December, will detail his purchasing strategy to Tier 2 suppliers this week.
