MG Rover

Talking points: MG Rover will make an announcement about the replacement for the 45 sedan. Although industry observers expect the 45 to use a shortened version of the flexible 75 platform, MG Rover has surprised people before with ideas no one expected. The replacement for the 45 is expected to arrive in the 2004 calendar year.

MG Rover is also expected to discuss developments in its negotiations with automakers China Brilliance and India's Tata.
