Opel's refurbished assembly plant in Russelsheim, Germany, relies heavily on supplier integration and lean production to build the new Vectra.
Opel parent General Motors invested E780 million to prepare Russelsheim for production of the latest-generation Vectra. GM spent E420 million to create a new flexible manufacturing facility within the existing plant and E360 million on production equipment.
