Raufoss

Headquarters: Raufoss, Norway

Core business: Aluminum suspension components

Turnaround strategy: Divest non-core operations; capitalize on GM Epsilon contract

Raufoss, the Norwegian maker of suspension components, fuel tanks, exhaust systems and chassis parts, expects its turnaround to begin this year.

It is supported by a major supply contract for cars built on General Motors' Epsilon platform.

Two years ago, Raufoss decided to sell non-core operations to offset falling sales and profitability - and to raise its profile in the USA.
