D/C sells stake
DaimlerChrysler sold its remaining 40 percent stake in Conti Temic Microelectronic to Continental for E215.3 million.
The sale makes Continental the sole owner of Conti Temic, as originally planned.
In April 2001, Continental acquired a 60 percent stake in Conti Temic for E398 million, and took over management.
Conti Temic is part of a new automotive electronics division at the German tire and auto components group. Conti Temic produces sensors; electric motors; and electronics for engine management, chassis and comfort systems.
