Denso diesel bid
Denso will begin manufacturing common-rail systems for diesel engines in Thailand in June and in Hungary in November.
The components will be able to inject diesel fuel at a pressure of 1,800 bar, higher than the 1,300- and 1,500-bar levels produced by conventional systems, and will meet the next round of European emissions standards, Euro IV.
In Thailand, Denso will initially make the parts at its existing plant. But in June 2003, Denso will start construction of a new plant dedicated to pumps, injectors and common-rail systems. That plant will open in ...
