Bertone gets GM coupe

Italy's Bertone will build a new sporty coupe starting in 1999 that will replace the Calibra in General Motors' European lineup.

* The Opel/Vauxhall Calibra was built by Valmet in Finland between 1989 and 1997. It was based on the old Opel Vectra (known as the Vauxhall Cavalier in the UK).
