Rolls-Royce and Maybach will use diametrically opposed manufacturing processes to build their new super-luxury cars.
Both the new cars will be vast, opulent, very expensive and aimed at the world's wealthiest individuals.
But BMW's new Rolls-Royce will be built in a new English plant with 350 craftsmen specializing in leather, wood, paint and painstaking construction. The Goodwood plant ships in pre-built bodies and complete engines. There's not a single welding machine in the plant.
