IN JANUARY Ford appointed the man at the heart of the development of the new Fiesta, Chief Program Engineer Jeremy Main, as Aston Martin's product development director. Main is based at Gaydon in the English midlands where a dedicated Aston Martin division has been set up within Ford's Premier Automotive Group research operations.
