Automotive News Europe, July, 2002 by Ciferri, Luca
Italy's Graziano Trasmissioni designed and engineered the complete transmission for Ferrari's new Enzo supercar.
Graziano, part of the Saurer group of Switzerland, will build the six-speed transmission in the Luserna S. Giovanni plant near Turin. It weights just 84kg despite handling torque up to 700Nm.
Graziano already supplies manual gearboxes for the entire Ferrari and Maserati range. It will also engineer, develop and produce a six-speed gearbox for the Lamborghini L140 project in 2003.
