With its sales plummeting, Fiat Auto has decided to make another big cut in production capacity.
Company sources say a further reduction - to be announced in late October - mainly involves downsizing its Mirafiori plant in Turin. The changes will result in about 2,000 job losses.
A Fiat Auto spokesman declined to comment.
