Alfa: Our dealers must improve.(News)

Alfa Romeo's European dealer network will undergo radical changes as part of Fiat Auto chief Giancarlo Boschetti's restructuring plan.

Alfa Romeo currently has 870 dealers in western Europe with around 1,000 total outlets. Boschetti plans to add a further 2,000 service-only dealers.

The spokesman said servicing standards must be raised if Alfa Romeo is to compete with prestige brands such as BMW and Audi.
