Autoliv in China
STOCKHOLM - Swedish safety systems specialist Autoliv has formed a joint venture in China. The new company is called Autoliv Maw Hung Vehicle Safety Systems and is based in Changchun. It is 59 percent owned by Autoliv and 41 percent owned by Maw Hung Industrial Corporation.
Early next year, the joint venture will acquire the existing assets and business of seat belt supplier Changchun Engley. The new company will also offer airbags and a range of sophisticated safety system solutions.
