Autocare

A British company is offering car dealers an off-site service to prepare and store new vehicles before delivery.

Autocare, part of Richard Lawson Autologistics, is establishing a network of vehicle distribution centers. The service is aimed at multi-site and city-center dealers, who are being encouraged to grow by automakers despite a lack of space.

"We will also free up the hours spent on [pre-delivery inspection and preparation] which can go into higher-value functions in the workshop," said James Smith, UK sales and marketing manager.
