Federal Mogul will retain its European glow plug operations as it attempts to emerge from bankruptcy in the USA.

The US supplier will also keep its spark plug and windshield wiper businesses in Europe. Those are core strengths the company believes it can develop into leadership positions, said Joseph Fellicelli, senior vice president, worldwide aftermarket operations.
