WENDELIN WIEDEKING, 50, has been CEO of Porsche since 1992, a time when the German sports car maker was in deep trouble. During Wiedeking's decade as boss, sales and earnings have risen steadily - to the point where Porsche is the most profitable carmaker in the world. Now Wiedeking is launching a third Porsche model line, the Cayenne sport-utility, and is talking about a fourth. He was interviewed by Richard Johnson and Dorothee Ostle of Automotive News Europe.
