NedCar may add another model after NCC/Smart.(News)

A third model may be built at the NedCar plant in addition to the Mitsubishi New Compact Car and four-door Smart.

Production of the new Mitsubishi and Smart models is due to begin at NedCar in Born, the Netherlands, in 18 months. The plant currently builds the Volvo S40 and V40, and Mitsubishi Carisma and Space Star. Production of the S40/V40 and Carisma will end. But the Space Star has just been face-lifted and could continue at NedCar until 2006.
