Kia may be seeking a more youthful image, but it will also launch a new lower-luxury executive sedan early next year.

Kia will introduce the Opirus in South Korea in January and unveil it in Europe at the Geneva auto show in late February. Kia considers the Opirus an important "halo effect" car despite it being at odds with the image the company is building as Hyundai's junior brand.
