Audi will show a six-seat crossover vehicle concept at the Detroit auto show in January. The concept, an updated version
of the Volkswagen Magellan shown at Detroit a year ago, will form the basis of a production vehicle that may go on sale as early as 2004.
The new Detroit concept confirms comments made by Audi CEO Martin Winterkorn earlier this year.
"We will build that car," said Winterkorn, referring to the Magellan concept.
