Peugeot successor

The PSA/Peugeot-Citroen board will meet soon to elect a new supervisory board chairman to replace Pierre Peugeot, who died December 1 at age 70.

The new chairman is expected to be another family member.

During his time as member of PSA's management committee from 1972 to 1998 and chairman of the board from that date, Pierre Peugeot worked to keep the family united and the company independent. As a result, PSA is one of the few car companies still controlled by the founders' family.
