General Motors Europe is talking with independent distributors in an effort to relaunch Cadillac in Europe.

Encouraged by a favorable swing in currency exchange rates and with a new range of Cadillacs better suited for Europe, GM Europe hopes to have a launch decision soon.

"It is very likely that we know what will happen [by] the Geneva show [in March]," a GM spokesman said.
