Moray Callum has a challenge on his hands - to redesign an automotive icon while the current model still sells in record numbers.
Global sales of the 12-year-old Mazda MX-5 sports car are still strong. Yet its replacement is due about 2005. Scotsman Callum, brother of Jaguar's chief designer Ian Callum, is the man charged with the daunting assignment.
