KIA - Jae-Hun Yu has been named president of Kia Motors Europe. Yu succeeds K. H. Nam, who has left Kia Motors Europe to take up a new position within the Kia group.
Yu, 50, had been director of Overseas Sales Group 1 in Kia's International Business Division (including Europe) since 2001.
Kia launched four new models in Europe last year, including the Sorento sport-utility. Under Yu's presidency, Kia will introduce 11 more new models in the next three years. The Korean carmaker is targeting sales of 300,000 units a year in Europe by 2005.
