CIE buys Gameko

CIE Automotive, the Spanish supplier of power steering, suspension and transmission systems, has acquired Gameko for [euro]10.5 million.

Gameko is based in Vitoria, in Spain's Basque region. It has annual revenue of [euro]20 million and employs about 100.

Gameko makes power steering, suspension and braking systems. Its customers include GM Fiat Powertrain, Renault, Opel and Volkswagen group.
