Swedish safety systems supplier Autoliv is consolidating its global supplier base.

"We have a relatively large supplier base all over the world," said Vice President of Purchasing Halver Jonzon, because acquisitions have been important to Autoliv's growth. But because of the big supply base, Autoliv has learned to benchmark its Tier 2s, he added.
