Pikes Peak, the Audi crossover sport-utility concept that enjoyed a warm reception at the Detroit auto show in January, is close to becoming a production vehicle.

"Following positive reactions in Detroit, we felt that we have to build it," Martin Winterkorn, Audi CEO, said at the Geneva auto show. "We expect to decide on that within a month from now."
