Visteon is building new campus-like headquarters in Germany and the USA to improve collaboration among workers at the [euro]20 billion supplier.
The $300 million ([euro]260 million) new Visteon world headquarters in Van Buren Township, Michigan, is also aimed at reducing Visteon's dependence on Ford, which spun off its former parts-making operation in 1997. Ford, based in Dearborn, is still Visteon's largest customer, but Visteon is reducing its reliance on Ford business, especially in Europe.
