TWR takeover

Menard Engineering purchased the TWR design, engineering and manufacturing group in Leafield and Worthing, England. The price was not disclosed.

Menard had earlier bought TWR's former racing division based in Oxfordshire.

Since its founding in 1975, TWR has specialized in the design, engineering and manufacture of road vehicles. TWR has worked for 42 automotive brands and was instrumental in the creation of the Aston Martin DB7 and Vanquish, and also engineered and manufactured the Jaguar XJ220, Volvo C70 and RenaultSport Clio V-6.
