Boysen sales to recover

German exhaust systems supplier Boysen expects sales to improve this year thanks to contracts for new high-end models such as the Bentley Continental GT, Rolls-Royce Phantom and Volkswagen Phaeton.

The Bavarian company reported that sales fell slightly in 2002, from [euro]338 million the previous year to [euro]334 million. The drop was mainly attributed to low prices on the German spare parts market.

But thanks to the new contracts, Boysen forecasts sales to reach more than [euro]400 million by 2004.
