Iris MG Rover deal
Czech supplier Iris has won a contract to produce interior lighting and beverage holder components for British carmaker MG Rover. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Iris also makes taillights for Peugeot, ashtrays for Saab and interior lights for Ford at its plant in Vsetin.

Raba Jarmuipari, a Hungarian supplier of axles, seats and specialty vehicles, will lay off about 300 employees.
