Robert Bosch is considering mass production starting in 2005 of a particulate filter that removes the soot from diesel exhaust. A decision is expec-ted in the third quarter of this year.
Bernd Bohr, 46, a member of Bosch's board of management for the past four years, took over the German supplier's automotive group on July 1. He discussed diesel and more with Automotive News Europe's Julie Armstrong.
Bosch is considering producing diesel particulate filters, but a decision won't come until the third quarter. What's the holdup?
