To keep its carmaker customers satisfied, TI Automotive has moved away from a conventional matrix of regional and divisional responsibilities for its senior management.

The UK-based brake line and fuel system supplier has shifted to a global business unit structure. The change reflects the move to real global purchasing by vehicle makers.

"There was a growing realization that this is the market that we are in," said Brian Lindsay, commercial managing director for TI's global fuel systems business.
