Hyundai and Mazda topped customer-satisfaction rankings in Europe last year, while Mercedes joined Fiat at the lower end of the scale.
The findings come from a confidential survey financed by carmakers operating in Europe that is only intended for internal use.
More customers were "completely satisfied" with Hyundai than with any other new car on the market. They also said the cars had fewer problems than any others, reveals the 2002 Model Year New Car Buyer survey.
