A revival in European demand and booming Asian sales could help trigger a strong recovery in the world car market in the next two years.

The prediction comes from the German market research institute B&D Forecast.

In the USA, B&D Forecast expects economic growth of 3.5 percent in 2004 and a new-vehicle sales increase of 2.8 percent to 16.8 million units.

The institute expects car sales to increase in Germany next year by 7.1 percent to 3.45 million units, although the country's economy as a whole is predicted to grow by only 1.5 percent. ...
