Automotive News Europe, September, 2003
Nissan is set to replace its Patrol and Terrano II models in Europe with a sport-utility based on its Dunehawk concept.
According to a Nissan source, the Dunehawk is part of the company's European strategy for sport-utility models. It will be produced at Nissan's plant in Barcelona, Spain, beginning in late 2005.
"The Dunehawk will be positioned above the current Terrano II, which will continue as a niche model for specific customers, such as police," the source said.
