Alliance expands

The Renault Nissan Alliance Board has agreed to increase the joint purchasing volume of the Renault Nissan Purchasing Organization to $36 million from $21 million annually.

The decision, which takes effect in January 2004, will expand joint purchasing activities from Japan, Western Europe and North America to all areas where Renault-Nissan has manufacturing operations.
