Minivan bashing

BMW will never make a minivan "because they are just plain boring," management board chairman Helmut Panke says.

"Our customers can always rely on one particular thing: We do not build, and we never will build, boring cars. We will focus on premium - only on premium."

Speaking at a dinner with UK journalists in London, Panke admitted that, while there will be no minivan, BMW is looking at a "space concept."
