Volvo has set an annual sales target of 74,000 units for its new V50 wagon, which will make its debut in spring.
Volvo wants more than half of the V50's sales to come from Europe. Germany should be the biggest European market with a target of 15,000 V50s, followed by Sweden with 10,000, the UK with 8,000 and the Netherlands with 5,500.
The car will be built in Volvo's Ghent, Belgium, factory, which also makes the S40, the V50's sedan stablemate.
