Audi is showing its new face with the A8 L 6.0.

The German carmaker has already introduced its so-called single-frame grille on recent concept cars. The aggressive look clearly separates the top-of-the-line 6.0 from lower-end A8 versions, but the style will trickle down to the rest of the lineup starting as early as 2005.

The car's W-12 engine has been upgraded from 420hp to 450hp - five more than the BMW 760i, but 50 less than the twin-turbocharged Mercedes-Benz S600. The engine makes the new Audi one of the fastest cars in the world.
